Into June, The EP is Finally Here
~ JUNE 8, 2010 ~
Firstly, an apology! we've been so busy with stuff going on, we just ain't had time to update our website!! But with 5 minutes spare, here goes...
The main news I suppose, is that our EP, 'Last Chance to Dance' is here. Recorded, pressed and printed, we have plenty of copies for you guys to get your hands on. The disc costs only 3 of you finest English pounds, so make sure you grab on while they're hot.
We'll be getting it online for you guys to buy soon, so sit tight, but if you want to listen to the tracks, head over to the Music section now. We've also got a bunch of gigs coming up, so keep up to date via the Gigs area.
On a final note, we would like to send our best wishes out to the family and friends of our very good friend, Terry Webster, who died tragically on the 4th June in a gunfight in Afghanistan! Terry was an amazing character, and we are gonna miss him so, so much! Sleep well Tez!!
Into April, Out of the Studio
~ APRIL 4, 2010 ~
Afternoon all! March was an enjoyable month for the band, and a pretty damn busy one. We played plenty of gigs, had a bunch of good shows, and unfortunately missed out on a final place in the Chester Radio 'Dee's Got Talent' competition.
Today we came out of the studio after a weekend session of recordings. We had an absolute blast with Nino over at Autumn Road, and we're really happy with what we've got down. Now it's just a case of letting the big man do his magic and we'll have ourselves a quality disc - no doubt. The disc will be ready in around a week or so, so sit tight, and we'll give you guys a listen when we have it in hand.
For now, that's pretty much it, and like we say, the disc will be ready and uploaded soon enough, but in the meantime, you can checkout some images from our time in the studio. Take Care!
End of February: A Busy One
~ FEBRUARY 25, 2010 ~
Hope you're all doing ok out there?! Busy, busy month this one for the band - good few gigs played this month, had some real good shows, including an epic over at the Waggon and Horses (but we've almost come to expect it now, top crowd).
Along with these gigs, we've booked up plenty for next month (which you can check out in the gigs section), aswel as a live appearance and interview on Chester radio station - Dee 106.3! We entered a talent contest, and we'll get a video around asap, and let all know when the voting begins!
On the note of a video, we've put up a new one in the music section from the Waggon (playing She's a Weapon by Twisted Wheel and Parklife by Blur) so check it out! That's it for now - Take Care of Yourselves!!
End of Month One: An Update
~ JANUARY 31, 2010 ~
Month one of year twenty-ten has been and gone ina flash! We've had a pretty good month on the whole, and set ourselves up for a fine couple of months ahead.
We've got a bunch of gigs confirmed and booked in, and a few more in the pipeline to keep us real, real busy. Check out the gigs section section for the details. Another piece of news we're happy to report on is the fact that we're booked in the studio for early April. We're finally getting our own stuff recorded, and we're excited about it.
